NorCAN Workshops & Events 

NorCAN now offers over 20 workshops and events annually, covering a wide range of nonprofit issues, ranging from grantwriting basics and introduction to board service to capacity building and leadership development. Please look below for information and links to register. 

All events are held at the Humboldt Area Foundation Community Center, unless otherwise stated.




Wednesdays, September 14, 21, & 28 (1-2:30) 3 sessions – Tools and Strategies for Online Program Delivery with Idealware. Monday, November 6, 2017 (11:30-1pm) – Board Leadership Roundtable with Byrd Lochtie and Deborah Downs, CFO for HAF.  Navigating Fiscal Difficulty. In this session, we’ll explore the warning signs that your organization might be in financial trouble, how to create a space for difficult conversations about finances and the future of the organization, options for responding, and how to develop a plan for action.
