To Give To The Northern California Association of Non-Profits
Charitable
gifts can be made to an existing fund or to establish a new fund with NorCAN. Donations can be made in the form of cash, estate
bequests, gifts of appreciated real property or securities, and gifts
from personal or family trusts. Working with the Humboldt Area
Foundation, NorCAN has professional advisers available,
entirely free of charge, to assist donors in determining the
suitability of different kinds of gifts, and the potential tax
advantages and opportunities to increase current income that each kind
of gift provides.
